Problem
A chair by itself does not make a good place to sit — set in the wrong spot, in a draft, in shadow, or facing away from any activity, it will go unused no matter how comfortable it is.
Solution
Choose a spot for each seat that is sheltered, warm with sun, and open to a view of what is happening nearby, since the position matters far more than the seat itself in whether people actually use it.
