Pattern 143
Bed Cluster
Context Couple's Realm136 · Children's Realm137 · Sleeping to the East138
Problem
Beds set in separate, isolated rooms leave children without closeness to one another; all beds crowded into one large room leave no child a nook of their own. Both extremes fail the need for nearness and privacy at once.
Solution
Gather the children's beds into small clusters with a shared play space between them, so each child keeps a small nook of their own while staying within easy sight and sound of the others.
