Problem

People want more than a destination — they want to be out among others, walking slowly, watching and being watched in turn. Without a proper place for this, the urge gets shunted into shopping malls or disappears from public life altogether.

Solution

Create a distinct promenade for every subculture — a street or path wide and inviting enough for strolling — where movement, glances, and chance meetings arise naturally on their own.
